Well aside from the obvious satire, everything discussing oil in the video was researched.  The documentary "A Crude Awakening" was one source of information and later I read an article in National Geographic that corroborated the same conclusions.  Some stuff in here is my opinion, but only the speculation of our alternatives and what might happen in the future.  Everything talking about the present-day situation is factual.

As for the report, I don't mean to be closed-minded, but this definitely comes across as pseudo-science.  It feels similar to predictions about the Y2K transition.  As far as oil goes, we probably have at least 6-8 years before we'll start to see any decline in world supply, possibly longer.

Maybe there is some truth to the satire in this video? Here is a report released today by a Pentagon think thank. Civil Protection's machinima video could be used to illustrate the report's predictions:

Very good use of humor and satire to communicate a message about global climate change, peak oil, and alternative energy solutions. Well done!
