Description:
This August the XVII International AIDS Conference will be held in Mexico City. Every two years this conference is held and people from all over the world meet with one another to hear about the latest scientific discoveries and effective HIV prevention resources and programs. One of the most affected populations by HIV is youth between the ages of 15 to 24. Youth between these ages account for more almost 40% of new HIV infections worldwide, yet many feel that this is not something that affects them.
Youth (under the age of 30) are invited to submit videos between 30 seconds to 2 minutes on their thoughts on how HIV/AIDS affects you and/or your community? Is it something that you think about? If you could attend the International AIDS Conference what would you want your message to be? This is your opportunity to speak out and have your voice heard.

One Digital camera for the top three Teams
In addition, the winner of the contest will have their video shown on an up-coming episode of Breakout (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).
Videos from the top five Teams will be shown at the Youth Pre-Conference and will also be showcased at the Youth Pavilion and on the Youth AIDS site.
